An Ohio University Alumni and Zanesville native, Kim Smith resides in Dublin with her husband, Paul, two young boys and two dogs.  She spends her free time helping her sons expel energy through learning the latest wrestling moves and teaching them every sport possible, practicing yoga to help her coast through temper tantrums, and not getting frustrated with her golf game.  She will also never turn down a bottle of wine, date night or an adventure.

Prior to launching RETAINED., Kim began her career at KPMG with a focus on financial and information risk management audits.  During her years at KPMG, she kept finding herself not being able to let go of her entrepreneurial dream and decided to take a leap of faith and has spent the last 10 years focused on recruiting, business development and launching Confirmed Integrity, a background screening and drug testing company. 

Her goal for RETAINED. is to always live up to their Mission of “Building Trust in All that We Do” and being the go to sourcing partner when any of their clients encounter a difficult search.

Mark and his wife, Linda (L.D.), and their two high school children, Davis and Sally, reside in Columbus, OH; and his older daughter Jennifer and her husband (McLean), live in Chicago, where she is an equity trader for JPMorgan. Being a sports junkie, he enjoys coaching and watching his kids participate in a number of sports.  He loves to cut a rug with Sally at the ACC Father Daughter Dance, toss the pigskin with Davis or discuss the philosophies of life over a nice Pinot with Jennifer and Mac.  He and his bride attempt to travel (without kids) on a regular basis.  The Sell Family loves the beach and slopes alike.

Selly (as he is known by most) cut his teeth at KPMG earning the CPA license and serving in both the audit and tax department.   He found (stumbled) his way into the executive recruiting world when he launched Sell & Associates in 1992.  The firm was blessed to work with Fortune 500, mid-size and emerging business clients.  

The process of merging his firm and launching RETAINED has created an excitement that promotes:  partnership focused relationships that enhances short and long-term success for businesses and candidates alike.  There is no better feeling when the mission and vision of a client and candidate align.
